Casa Montauto is situated in a very panoramic position surrounded by the green of the Mugello valley: a nice little terrace over the world! With Mugello is called the first part of the Sieve valley to Vicchio, to which joins the Florentine region on the other side of the Apennin. The Mugello area is the native country of the Medici family where the ancient castles can be visit. A lot of cultural sights lies in a periphery of only few kilometers. So Firenze and Fiesole are only approx. 32 kilometers away. The Thyrreni sea, Siena, San Gimignano, Lucca and Pisa are attainable with the car in somewhat more than one hour

The apartement Margherita:
The Agritourism Montauto is placed in an old farm-house, plunged in to the most typical green of the high hills of Tuscany and it is divided into fife apartments, four with 65 qm and one with 35 qm, provided with every comfort.
The "Margherita" is situated in the ground floor (entrance from the northside), has two double bed-rooms, a completely furnished and habitable kitchen (sofa-bed), bathroom with a shower, storeroom, washing machine, heating, double windows and barbecue outside.

The place, moreover offers a relaxing solarium, a pool (28.05.-14.09.),long walks in the fields, trekking for the experts, a horse riding school, bike, mountain-bike, or horse riding and shops with the most typical products of the area. In the neighbourhood you can find: swimming-pools, golf courses, tennis, bow-shot and aquatic sports such as sailing-boat or canoa. Pets are admitted.
